Tickets for MLB’s 2017 Opening Day have been purchased by fans in a total of 30 different countries, significantly higher than last year’s count of 18 different countries for MLB’s 2016 Opening Day.

San Francisco (March 1, 2017)StubHub, the world’s largest ticket marketplace, announces the 2017 lineup for its third annual three-day showcase of daytime and evening performances at the South by Southwest (SXSW) music festival on March 15-17.  Hosted at Banger’s Sausage House & Beer Garden, the dynamic lineup of emerging and established talent includes Sleigh Bells, Hamilton Leithauser, Wild Belle, BANKS, Electric Guest, D.R.A.M., Talib Kweli and Benjamin Booker.

As we shy less than 24 hours from the Patriots/Falcons showdown, the average ticket price for Super Bowl LI has dropped a bit from yesterday to $4,078, which is down 14% compared to this time last year for Super Bowl 50. The number of tickets purchased on StubHub is up by 25% compared to this time last year.

International interest for Super Bowl LI continues climb. Today, a buyer from Thailand purchased four Super Bowl LI tickets, rounding out the list of now 22 different countries that have reported ticket purchases on StubHub.

We’re now five days out from Super Bowl LI! The average ticket price for Super Bowl LI has dropped 3% from yesterday to $4,284, which is down 14% compared to this time last year for Super Bowl 50. The number of tickets purchased on StubHub is also up by 14% compared to this time last year, which is probably a result of overall lower ticket prices this year.

As more fans make Super Bowl travel plans, it looks like New Yorkers are trying to warm up by heading south this weekend. Sales from New York have spiked 26% from yesterday, surpassing ticket purchases made by fans in Florida. Since yesterday, there has also been an 11% increase in ticket purchases from international buyers. Buyers in Italy and Germany just purchased tickets to Super Bowl LI, rounding out the list of now 20 countries that have reported ticket purchases.
